Agoura Hills sits in the western Conejo Valley, straddling LA and Ventura counties. It's a true bedroom community — quieter than Calabasas, more residential than Westlake, and known for its excellent schools and proximity to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. The 101 freeway runs through it, but neighborhoods like Old Agoura and Morrison Ranch sit far enough off it to feel rural.
